2/O holds additional responsibility of Medical Officer.
Responsibilities –
1. Give medical aid to sick personnel onboard.
2. Inform Master if any crew requires shore medical treatment.
3. Maintain inventory of all medicines and medical equipments.
4. Maintain medical logbook.
5. Place order for medicines and equipments and get rid of expired items.
